My Story

My Story

And why I decided to build this brand from scratch?

Well, I’ve always loved creating.

As a kid in Brazil, I spent hours drawing, imagining logos, inventing companies for fun. I didn’t know it then, but I was already trying to express identity. It was a way to give shape to things that felt like mine.

Years later, I moved to Canada, looking for new beginnings. I started working in restaurants. Every shift, I’d put on the same kind of shirt: plain, lifeless, forgettable. It didn’t feel like me.

Over time, that small frustration turned into something bigger. I wanted clothes that reflected my personality. I wanted clothes with energy, intention, and story. And since I couldn’t find them, I decided to make them.

From the sewing machine to something more

I didn’t go to fashion school. I wasn’t planning to build a clothing brand.
I just knew I wanted to create something I could be proud of, and maybe someday, something that others would wear with pride too.

I bought fabric, learned to sew, made mistakes, made progress.
One shirt turned into another. Then into a vision.

Today, I design and craft each piece from my studio at home in Vancouver. Every shirt is made to order, cut and sewn by me, with care in small quantities.

A brand built from culture, contrast, and confidence

My story is shaped by contrast. I was born in Rio, lived in the Northeast of Brazil, Montes Claros, lived in the south, and later in bustling cities like São Paulo and Vancouver. Each place left a mark.

That’s what you’ll find in the shirts I create: the warmth of the tropics, the stillness of the countryside, the vibrance of Brazilian way of life. All expressed through timeless silhouettes, bold color, and clean construction.

This is not just about fashion. It’s about identity.
It’s about confidence, authenticity, and honouring where we come from while embracing where we are.

Thank you for being here

I know it’s not every day that someone makes shirts by hand in their apartment and builds a brand around it. But this feels right.
And if you're someone who values intention, culture, and individuality, then this was made for you.

Thanks for reading my story.
Let’s create something unforgettable together.

With Love,

Gustavo
